Christmas giveaway: On the Tudor Trail

If you like Tudor history, then keep an eye out for a great Christmas giveaway by Natalie Grueninger on her popular blog On The Tudor Trail this December.  I’m offering a copy of The Memory of Midnight and as you can see, there will be lots of other books up for grabs too.

The Cursed Wife

Next year, I’ll be gearing up for the publication of The Cursed Wife on 8 March 2018, and I’m sure I’ll have some advance copies to give away in the run up to that.

The Great York Literary Quiz: Tuesday 20 February 2018

Before then, I’ll be taking part in the Great York Literary Quiz to launch an online Promises Auction, raising funds in memory of Helen Cadbury, a wonderful York crime writer who sadly died last year.

The Quiz, hosted by bestselling crime novelist Mark Billingham, will take place on 20 February, in the Basement at City Screen. There’ll be live music, a bar, and a tombola with a huge variety of books to win.  It should be a lot of fun, so if you’re in or around York in February why not put together a team and come along?

The promises, all on a literary theme, should be of particular interest to any aspiring writers, but there’ll be some light-hearted promises too – I’ll have more news about this nearer the time.

York Literature Festival

Finally, looking a bit further head, I’ll be on a special historical fiction panel with Sarah Maine and Tim Murgatroyd as part of the York Literature Festival next year.

We’ll be at York Explore on Saturday 24th March 2018, 3.00pm-4.30pm, so if you’re in York for the festival (or just in York) come along, do.
